Deepika Padukone’s Father Hospitalized Due to COVID-19

The second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic has struck India hard, affecting millions across the nation, including celebrities and their families. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s father, Prakash Padukone, has recently been hospitalized after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

In a recent interview with PTI, Vimal Kumar, a close friend of the Padukone family, disclosed that about ten days ago, Prakash Padukone, his wife Ujjala Padukone, and their daughter Anisha Padukone started showing symptoms of COVID-19. Kumar stated, “Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife, and daughter developed symptoms and got themselves tested. The results came out positive.”

The family immediately isolated themselves following the diagnosis. However, after a week, Prakash Padukone’s fever persisted, prompting his admission to a hospital in Bengaluru last Saturday. Despite the initial concerns, Vimal Kumar assured that the Padukone family is now safe and their symptoms are under control. He added that Prakash Padukone is expected to be discharged soon.

Deepika Padukone has rushed to the hospital to be with her family during this challenging time. The actress and her family have received an outpouring of support and well-wishes from fans and colleagues alike.

These difficult times remind us that the pandemic spares no one, and it is crucial to support each other and follow safety guidelines to overcome this crisis. We wish Prakash Padukone and his family a speedy recovery.
