Kareena Kapoor Khan recently found herself in the midst of a legal controversy surrounding the title of her book, Pregnancy Bible. The Bollywood actress received a legal notice from the Madhya Pradesh High Court, claiming that the book’s title was offensive to the sentiments of the Christian community. Advocate Christopher Anthony raised concerns over the use of the word “Bible” in a book about Kareena’s pregnancy, arguing that it could be seen as disrespectful.

Advocate Anthony felt that associating the sacred term “Bible,” which is the holy book of Christianity, with a book about pregnancy was inappropriate and potentially offensive. In his legal statement, he emphasized that the use of the word “Bible” in such a context could hurt the religious sentiments of Christians.

Responding to the legal notice, Kareena Kapoor Khan clarified through her lawyers, Divya Krishna, that there was no intention to offend any religious sentiments or community. The actress emphasized that her book aimed to provide insights and experiences about pregnancy and that the title was not meant to harm the beliefs or emotions of any community. Her lawyers denied all allegations, stating that there was no purpose or intent to cause harm or disrespect to any religion.

The case continues to be a point of discussion in legal circles, with the next hearing scheduled for September 10th in the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Justice G.S. Ahluwalia will preside over the hearing. The court will determine whether the use of the word “Bible” in Kareena’s book title is indeed offensive and whether it warrants further legal action.

The legal controversy has also led to a police complaint being filed by another Christian organization expressing concerns over the title of Kareena’s book. As of now, the issue remains unresolved and is pending in court.

While the legal battle continues, Kareena Kapoor Khan maintains that her intention was never to hurt any religious sentiments. She aims to clear the air and hopes that the matter will be resolved amicably.
