Kareena Kapoor Khan recently found herself entangled in a legal controversy concerning the title of her book, Pregnancy Bible. The actress received a legal notice from the Madhya Pradesh High Court, accusing her of hurting religious sentiments with the use of the word “Bible” in the book’s title.

Responding to the lawsuit, Kareena clarified that she never intended to offend any religious sentiments. The controversy was initiated by Christopher Anthony, who objected to the use of the word “Bible” in a book related to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy. He claimed that this usage was offensive to the Christian community and issued a legal statement against the actress.

Kareena, through her legal team led by Divya Krishna, emphasized that there was no intention to harm or offend any religion. The lawyers refuted the allegations, asserting that there was no purpose behind choosing the title to disrespect any beliefs or emotions associated with any community.

The next hearing for the case is scheduled for September 10th in the Madhya Pradesh High Court, to be presided over by Justice G.S. Ahluwalia. The advocate, hailing from Jabalpur, argued that the term “Bible” seemed hurtful to the sentiments of the Christian community. He was quoted saying, “The Bible is the holy book of Christianity, and it is wrong to compare Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy with the Bible.”

To outline the sequence of events, the advocate first approached the police to file an FIR against Kareena Kapoor Khan. When his request was denied by the police officials, he then appealed to an additional sessions court. However, his plea was rejected once again by the court as he failed to demonstrate how the word “Bible” was offensive.

The case was recorded after another Christian organization raised concerns over the title of Kareena Kapoor’s book, leading to a formal police complaint. The legal issue remains pending in court, with the next steps awaiting the outcome of the hearing.
