Big B quickly said, “Joh unka naam tha wahi bulate the.” She asked him if he called her ‘Jaya Ji’ before marriage. The host said that ‘ji’ was added after marriage as she believes in giving respect to his wife. Kajol then asked him who made the first move in their relationship. Uska naam tha Zanjeer.” He revealed that their love story began when their group decided that if Zanjeer does well they will go for a holiday to London.

How did Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan get married?

He further said that the film did well and they got permission to go to London. But his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan had a condition that if Jaya was coming to London then he would first have to get married. Hence, they got married and then went ahead to London.

Later, he was seen speaking about his college days when Kajol told him that she will use the winning amount and go to Sarojini Market, Bengali Market chaat, and Chandni Chowk’s Paranthe Wali Gali instead of malls. Amitabh Bachchan said that he has spent a lot of time there and knows everything.

Kajol asked him about those days and Big B said, “Devi ji kya hai, ab hum shaadi shuda hoh gaye hai. Naati pota bhi hoh gaye hai. Woh zamana joh tha woh jawani ka zamana tha. Uske bare mein kya bataye hum? Batane se hamara pura poll joh hai woh khuljaega.”
