Resurfaced Video: Salman Khan Says ‘Bohot Khoobsurat’ Women Marry Average-Looking Men In Viral Video: ‘Kam Shakal Wale…’

Mallika Sherawat explained to Salman Khan that women prioritize intelligence, actors mocks her.

An interaction between Salman Khan and Mallika Sherawat from the actor’s game show, Das Ka Dum 2, has caught everyone’s attention again almost 15 years later. In the now-viral clip, Salman spoke about how many beautiful girls marry men who do not match their looks. Mallika said that women do not hold looks as top priority, but focus on character and intelligence.

Salman said in the video, “Maine kitni baar dekha hoga ki bohot khoobsurat kanyaein, kam shakal wale purushon ke saath shaadi karli ya unke boyfriend hain. Yeh kyu hai? Yeh aap mujhe samjhaiye (So many times I’ve seen that immensely beautiful girls will marry or fall in love with average-looking men. Why does that happen? You explain it to me).”

Mallika replied, “Kyuki looks itne important nahi hain. Mann jo hai, that is more important (Looks aren’t that important, but the mind is more important). A man’s intelligence is more important as looks come and go.” Salman retorted, “Mahilaon ki thinking hi kamaal hai ki uske paas looks bhi nahi hain, paisa bhi nahi hai, kuch bhi nahi hai par phir bhi… aap devi hain… (It’s incredible how women that since he doesn’t have looks or money yet… you are a goddess).” Mallika responded, “No, he should have character.”

The video resurfaced on Reddit recently and has gone viral across the microblogging site. Several users took to the comments section to express their hot takes. One person wrote, “She’s so beautiful.” Another added, “She’s so gorgeous.” One comment read, “Mallika was done so dirty by Bollywood and the audience, constant bullying just because she was a genuine feminist.”

Meanwhile, for a long time now, reports of Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya planning to reunite for a movie have been making headlines. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Salman and Sooraj have finally locked the script of their upcoming movie but have not finalised on its name.

“Sooraj ji is not making anything titled Prem Ki Shaadi. It is a totally different script. He is coming together again with Salman,” a friend of Barjatya claimed. Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya’s collaboration is considered to be iconic. They have worked together for blockbuster movies like Hum Aapke Hain Koun. They last collaborated on the 2015 movie, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, which also starred Sonam Kapoor in the lead.
