Kareena Kapoor Khan says she is “STRUGGLING” and it has something to do with hubby Saif Ali Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s, who is fresh out of the success of her comedy film ‘Crew’, has fans waiting to catch her in action again, this time with the crime thriller ‘The Buckingham Murders’, directed by Hansal Mehta. All eyes will be on the box office to see if the actress can recreate her magic and cash in another box office hit of 2024.

With big hits, come big paycheques, but if you ask Bebo, she says in her latest interview, “The films I choose are not about money, that I am very clear about. It has never been about the money.”

Speaking to The Week, Kareena was informed that she is among the highest-paid actresses in the Bollywood film industry, with reports suggesting that she charges between Rs 10 to 15 crores per film. Reacting to this report, she said, “I hope so, I hope whatever you say is right. It’s not about my acting…”

While she may be among the top-paid stars, the actress quipped that she is “struggling” and claimed that her husband, Saif Ali Khan was the reason. When asked about the number of apartments she owns in the building where she currently resides, Kareena responded playfully, “This is my husband’s house, we are sitting and doing this interview in that. See I am struggling.”

Kareena will be seen playing the lead in the upcoming film ‘The Buckingham Murders’ which is set for a theatrical release on September 13, 2024. In addition to her acting role, Kareena is also co-producing the film alongside Ekta Kapoor.
The actress, who is currently enjoying her European holiday with her hubby and two sons – Taimur and Jeh, has another major film lining up for its release. Kareena will also play a leading role in the highly anticipated film ‘Singham Again’, directed by Rohit Shetty. This action-packed sequel will see her sharing the screen with Bollywood heavyweights Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The film is slated to hit the big screen on 1 November 2024.
