Priyanka Chopra says all her actor ex-boyfriends were great, wonderful people: ‘Relationships may have ended badly…’
Priyanka Chopra, who dated Shahid Kapoor, Harman Baweja and other actors, has said all her exes were wonderful people.
Priyanka Chopra has spoken about all the actors she dated in India before finding true love in husband Nick Jonas. In a new podcast, Priyanka spoke highly of all her exes, calling them ‘great’ people, even if their relationships ended badly.
Over her long career in Bollywood, Priyanka was linked to Shahid Kapoor, Harman Baweja and even Shah Rukh Khan. The actor never confirmed dating any of them. On Alex Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy, Priyanka mentioned that she was a ‘serial monogamist’, when it came to dating.

“I went from relationship to relationship to relationship. I did not give myself time at all between between relationships till my last one,” she said. When asked why that was the case, she said, “I think I worked a lot and I always ended up dating the actors that I worked with are the people that I met on my set. And I think that, I just thought I had an idea of what a relationship should be like, and I kept seeking that and trying to fit the people that came into my life into my idea of that relationship and I’ve dated great people.”
“Yeah, the relationships may have ended really badly some of them, but like the people that I’ve had, I’ve dated in my life, have been really wonderful. But after my ex before my husband, I literally took two years off. And that was a big reason,” she said.
Priyanka also talked about the beginning of her romance with Nick. Her co-stars from Quantico hated her boyfriend at the time as she was always on the phone with him, crying. They wanted her to give Nick a chance and his brother Kevin also thought he should meet her. It was after she thoroughly Googled him one night and landed on his sultry video for Close that she finally decided to go out on a date with him.
The couple is now parents to one-year-old daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
