Bollywood actress Ananya Panday offered a glimpse into her world during an appearance at Agenda AajTak. She discussed her experiences both on and off-screen, including her takeaways from working on the film “Gehraiyaan.” The conversation reportedly delved into the valuable lessons she learned from her co-star Deepika Padukone and director Shakun Batra.

She shared how working with Deepika Padukone and director Shakun Batra taught her valuable lessons.

When asked about her preparation for roles, Ananya mentioned that ‘Gehraiyaan’ was a transformative experience for her. She stated that she learned from director Shakun Batra and Deepika Padukone to be very process-oriented. Ananya added that now she follows a detailed process when preparing for any role.

She went on to explain that she prefers to arrive on set fully prepared. Ananya emphasized knowing not only her own lines but also those of her co-stars beforehand. Her goal is to avoid stressing about dialogue or details once filming starts.

Ananya detailed her preparation process, including writing the character’s backstory, understanding their habits like eating, drinking, and sleeping, and developing their body language such as walking and sitting. She highlighted the importance of this groundwork to allow room for improvisation during filming.

‘Gehraiyaan’ is a noir romantic drama directed by Shakun Batra. Starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa, the film premiered on February 11, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.

On the professional front, Ananya Panday recently appeared in Arjun Varnain Singh’s ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan,’ alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.

Next, she is gearing up for Collin D’Cunha’s web series ‘Call Me Bae,’ which is slated to debut on Amazon Prime Video on September 6, 2024.
