In the grand premiere, the new host of the show Riteish Deshmukh got candid about the comparison with Salman Khan, his views on Anil Kapoor hosting Bigg Boss OTT 3 and even shared how he has been preparing to host Bigg Boss Marathi after Mahesh Manjrekar hosting the show for four seasons.

On being asked about the comparison between Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor, Riteish remarked, “What Salman Khan does, nobody can host like him. I have known Anil Kapoor sir very well, we are friends although he is my senior. He has his own style and he is hosting in that style. That’s what a host is all about, when you choose a host then you would want to see how would they do. I shall also try my best and you guys can let me know if I am doing good or not in a week or two.”

When asked about whether he felt pressured as Mahesh Manjrekar hosted the previous seasons of Bigg Boss Marathi, Riteish said, “What Mahesh sir has done has been in his style and he is a fantastic host. To host Bigg Boss is an honour and doing it after him is an even bigger honour. I believe whatever situations that would come during the show, I shall deal with them accordingly.”
