In a shocking revelation, Haripal Hardeep Singh, alias Hari, one of the suspects apprehended in the case involving gunfire at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, has admitted to his association with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. This connection, reportedly established four years ago, began after Hari followed Bishnoi on Instagram. According to recent disclosures in the chargesheet filed by Mumbai Police, Hari’s involvement with the gang was further solidified through interactions with Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol in Canada, and Rohit Godhara, another key figure linked to the gang.
The chargesheet highlights that Hari became part of an Instagram group named ‘sopuprajasthangolden09,’ which showcases photos and content related to Bishnoi’s gang. He operated under the Instagram handle ‘harry_rai_sopu_haryana,’ where he even shared a video featuring a conversation with Rafiq Mohammad, also known as Golden, another suspect arrested in connection with the shooting incident at Salman Khan’s home.
The investigation reveals that Hari actively created and shared Instagram reels from video calls, including one involving Lawrence Bishnoi and ten other gang members. Additionally, several Instagram profiles under the alias ‘Sopu Group 29’ (Student Organization of Punjab University) are reportedly managed by Bishnoi himself, amplifying their digital footprint and outreach.
The incident, which occurred in April, involved multiple rounds of gunfire targeting Salman Khan’s residence. The actor later expressed his belief that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang orchestrated the attack with the intent to kill him and his family, as per statements included in the chargesheet.
The police have arrested several individuals in connection with this case, including Vickykumar Gupta, Sagarkumar Pal, Sonukumar Bishnoi, Anujkumar Thapan, Mohd Rafiq Choudhary, and Harpal Singh. Notably, Anujkumar Thapan allegedly died by suicide while in police custody. The remaining suspects are currently in judicial custody as the investigation progresses.
This unsettling incident underscores the growing influence of criminal networks through social media platforms and the alarming ease with which individuals can be drawn into such activities.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is trying to stay unaffected by the incident and is completely focusing on his professional journey. He is gearing up for the release of his next ‘Sikandar’, wherein he will share screen space with Rashmika Mandanna for the first time. Apart from this, fans are also excited to see him in ‘Kick 2’.
