Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta were among the most-loved on-screen couples of Hindi cinema in the late 90s and early 2000s. Recently, an old video of the actors rehearsing for a dance performance has gone viral on social media, leaving their fans nostalgic.

The video, which is from the time when Shah Rukh and Preity were in the US for a stage performance, shows the camaraderie the two actors shared. It has them rehearsing a dance together on the ‘Mohabbatein’ song “Humko Humise Chura Lo”. The song originally featured Shah Rukh and Aishwarya Rai.

As they rehearse and Preity struggles to get a step right, SRK jokes and asks her, “Preity, are you doing drugs again?” To this, Preity laughs in her patent way and replies, saying, “I think so.” The video further shows them perfecting their dance steps.

Preity had earlier shared the video on her Instagram account. But she muted the conversation she had with Shah Rukh and added a Veer-Zaara song in the background. She captioned it, “This was us rehearsing for an award show. I remember I had no sleep for 2 days and I felt like a zombie. @iamsrk helped brighten the day & the rehearsal with his easy charm & timely jokes. Preity Zinta and Shah Rukh Khan have worked together in films like Dil Se, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veer-Zaara, and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. During her recent AMA session, Preity had called Shah Rukh a “powerhouse” performer. She said, “SRK is a powerhouse of talent and one of the most generous and fun actors to work with. He always keeps his co-stars on their toes and is very entertaining and competitive. I learned a lot from him in Dil Se.”

Preity also called Shah Rukh the most generous, kind, and patient co-actor.
