Days after Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s grand sangeet night, Orhan Awatramani aka Orry shared a photo with parents-to-be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, where he can be seen holding Deepika’s baby bump in his signature pose. However, what caught people’s attention is Ranveer Singh’s bulked up avatar, with many commenting about the Gunday actor’s latest look.

On Wednesday, Orry took to his Instagram handle to share a photo with Ranveer and Deepika. In the photo, Ranveer can be seen wearing an outfit by Gaurav Gupta. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone was seen wearing a beautiful handspun organza saree, crafted in custom bejeweled purple. While many loved the couple’s avatar for sangeet ceremony, others were curious about Ranveer’s look. A user commented, “Why does Ranveer Singh look like that?”, another user wrote, “Ranveer Singh looks AI-generated.” One person wrote, “He is so buffed, total Khilji feels.”

In another post by Ranveer’s stylist Eka Lakhani, people flooded Ranveer’s sangeet look post with comments like, “He looks completely different”, “Petition to bring back clean shaven Ranveer”, and “Bhaisaab, don’t change this look”.

Seemingly, Ranveer’s new look is for his upcoming film with Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar. The film will reportedly star actors Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. The film, touted to be a fast-paced, mission-based action thriller, will feature Ranveer Singh in the role of an intelligence officer.

The film will reportedly bank rolled by Aditya and his brother Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios. Previously, Ranveer Singh was supposed to star in the films Don 3 by Farhan Akhtar, and Rakshas by Prasanth Varma. While the latter is shelved, there has been no announcement regarding Farhan’s film.
