The reason Shah Rukh Khan did not win Best Actor at the Filmfare Awards 2024 is that he was stacked against too much competition.
2023 was a successful year for Shah Rukh Khan, with three commercially successful back-to-back releases for him in Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. As such, fans were understandably upset that he did not win the Filmfare Award for Best Actor 2024.
However, Shah Rukh Khan, who was not only nominated for Jawan but also Dunki, was unfortunately stacked against a great amount of competition in the form of Animal’s Ranbir Kapoor, Gadar 2’s Sunny Deol, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s Ranveer Singh, and Sam Bahadur’s Vicky Kaushal. Like Shah Rukh Khan, they also delivered critically acclaimed performances.
