He had once opened up about the challenges he faced following the dismal performance of his 2008 superhero film, Drona.
This film, which featured a star-studded cast including Priyanka Chopra and Kay Kay Menon, was critically panned and failed to make a mark at the box office. The aftermath of this failure was significant for Bachchan, who revealed that he was “dropped” from several projects and found it increasingly difficult to secure roles thereafter.
Many years back, during a candid exchange on social media, Junior Bachchan responded to a troll who suggested he would remain jobless despite the reopening of cinema halls in India. He articulated a profound truth about the film industry, stating, “That, alas, is in your (the audiences) hand. If you don’t like our work, we won’t get our next job.” His response reflected not only his resilience but also the harsh realities that actors face in the industry.
