Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has finally spoken out on the controversial Kolkata doctor case, which has gained significant attention in recent days. The case revolves around a shocking incident involving a doctor from Kolkata, which has sparked nationwide outrage and protests from the medical community.

Aishwarya Rai, known for her measured responses, emphasized the need for a thorough investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). She stated, “The CBI should interrogate everyone from the administration who was present during the incident. If anyone is found guilty, we should demand their arrest and ensure that the law is upheld. We have asked for the resignation of the officials involved, and they should not be placed in any other administrative position. We want justice.”

The police commissioner has repeatedly denied rumors that 150 grams of semen were found at the crime scene, urging the public to trust the ongoing investigation led by the CBI and the police. “Officials are fully cooperating with the CBI,” the commissioner added, highlighting the need for public trust in the process as it unfolds.

The response from the medical community has been one of solidarity and unity, with doctors across the country standing together against what they perceive as an injustice. Despite their protests, they have ensured that emergency services and casualty care continue uninterrupted, demonstrating their commitment to their duty while demanding justice.

The case has attracted international attention, particularly because it raises concerns about the safety of women in India. Shilpa Shetty, another prominent Bollywood actress, recently expressed her support for the victim’s family and called for systemic change. In a heartfelt post, she wrote, “It’s sad that even after 78 years of independence, are our women truly free to live without fear? I hope to see a change in the system. It’s a travesty that while we celebrate our country’s independence, our women remain insecure and continue to be let down as legal matters drag on endlessly, leaving their families to bear the pain and trauma. Only when all our citizens feel safe can we truly experience freedom in a free India.”

Other celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Sara Ali Khan, Suhana Khan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, have also expressed their condolences and called for justice on social media. Their collective voices have amplified the public’s demand for accountability and reform in the wake of this tragic incident.

As the CBI continues its investigation, the nation watches closely, hoping for a resolution that brings justice and reassures the public of the safety and security of all citizens, particularly women, in India.
