Kareena Kapoor Khan’s mid-week Instagram post was a playful remark on how she is that mother who eats her kids’ leftovers. The actor, mother to Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh, often posts adorable photos with and about her little ones.

Kareena Kapoor’s Wednesday Instagram photo was that of a half-eaten pancake, along with some strawberries and cream. She wrote, “I am the mother who eats her kids leftovers (sic)”, hinting that she ate either Taimur or Jeh’s leftover food.

Take a look:

Kareena Kapoor, despite her busy schedule, makes sure she spends enough time with her kids. She, along with husband Saif Ali Khan, often takes Taimur and Jeh out for vacations. However, there are times when ‘mom guilt’ takes over.

At ABP Network’s Ideas of India Summit, she addressed the same and said, “Of course, like there was a lot of guilt that I couldn’t be there for Jeh’s first concert, but then I kind of tell myself that I know I will be there when he’ll perform next year. And it’s more for me at this age. You know, because he’s three. It’s my guilt! It’s like I need to be there for my joy to see what he does because I don’t know if he’ll remember it. So I have to, you know, you have to talk to yourself, convince yourself saying that it’s okay.”

Adding further, the ‘Jaane Jaan’ actor shared that both Saif and she strive to balance their work and home life with their children. She mentioned that her elder son, Taimur, understands this dynamic and she believes it’s crucial for him to see both parents working and alternating their time at home.

“Being at work or being a working mother is something I can’t live without. Taimur understands that. I feel it is a healthy atmosphere for him to see that his mother, as well as his father, go to work, and they take turns at who is probably going to be at home. It will give him a very balanced approach to growing up and knowing how to respect a woman a lot more,” Kareena added.
