Neetu Kapoor receives birthday wishes from Kareena, Karisma

Neetu Kapoor made her acting comeback last year with Jugjugg Jeeyo opposite Anil Kapoor. She is celebrating her 66th birthday today.

Neetu Kapoor is celebrating her 66th birthday with her daughter Riddhima Kapoor amid the Swiss mountains. She is currently on holiday with Riddhima, her husband and her daughter. Birthday wishes are pouring in Fromm all over the nation. Having said that, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor also dropped in heartwarming wishes for their Aunt.

Kareena took to her Instagram handle, and shared a happy photo of Neetu. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to the most fit and inspiring Neetu Aunty.” Karisma on the other hand wrote, “Happy Birthday to our Neetu Aunty.”

In a video shared by Riddhima on her Instagram story, Neetu could be seen joining in as her family sang the birthday song for her. She celebrated with a special dessert and a sparkler.

Riddhima also shared a mother-daughter photo with Neetu and wrote, “Just us girls enjoying our bubbly. Love and only love. Happy birthday my mommykins. Riddhima also shared a photo with Neetu and Samaira, capturing “three generations” of Kapoor women.

Neetu Kapoor is one of the most popular veteran actresses in Bollywood. In a talk show with Karan Johar, Neetu Kapoor had revealed that she started acting when she was eight years old. Neetu Kapoor started her career as a child artist at the age of 8. During that period, she started working in films like Dus Lakh, Do Dooni Chaar and Do Kaliyan. Every film she worked in was a hit. Her song Bachche Mann Ke Sachhe also became quite popular. Her film Do Kaliyan made her popular and fame came at a very early stage in her life.

In 1980, Neetu Singh married her co-star Rishi Kapoor, with whom she shared screen space in several films, including Amar Akbar Anthony, Kabhie Kabhie, Khel Khel Mein and more. However, she claimed that when her kids were born, she wanted to dedicate herself to her children and look after her family.
