Deepika Padukone slams camera as fan sneakily records her and Ranveer Singh, internet says she is in her ‘Lady Singham’ era.

In the last two days, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have dominated the Bollywood news space. From being spotted on their babymoon, Ranveer deleting their wedding pictures, then proclaiming how the wedding ring gifted by her is among his dearest possessions, a new video has now emerged where Deepika is not entirely pleased with being filmed

A video has surfaced on the internet, presumably from the couple’s recent vacation, where Ranveer and Deepika seem to be on their way out of a ferry. The couple walks through a row of parked cars, with their security ahead of them. There is excitement among those who are standing there as they express surprise on spotting the stars.

The footage, shot from inside a car, shows Deepika walking ahead of Ranveer. As she makes her way through the parked cars, Deepika spots the person filming her, looks away, then as she is getting out of the frame– slams the phone, which then wobbles as the footage comes to an end.

Fans of Deepika were happy with her reaction, as many questioned the invasion of her privacy. “She’s clearly not comfortable being clicked what’s wrong with you guys?” wrote an Instagram user. While others said she was already in her character of Shakti Shetty from Singham Again, in which she will be seen as a fierce cop, also dubbed as ‘Lady Singham.’

The same day the video surfaced, Ranveer attended a jewelry brand event. There, he spoke to Vogue and said how one of the rings that are “very dear” to him is “my wedding ring, presented to me by my wife.” This effectively shut all rumours down of trouble in paradise. Ranveer said, “Personal sentimental value attached to them are my most dear pieces. One of the rings that is very dear to me is this one; it’s my wedding ring, presented to me by my wife. The other one is a platinum engagement ring. And then, of course, my mother’s diamond earrings and my grandmother’s pearls.”

Ranveer and Deepika announced their pregnancy in February and are expecting their baby in September. On the work front, Ranveer will soon begin filming Aditya Dhar’s next film while Deepika will have her second release of the year with Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Prabhas and megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
