But the Bollywood legends are being seriously secretive about their wedding – taking place in Lake Como, in Italy, on 14 November.

So secretive, in fact, that they reportedly asked wedding guest Harshdeep Kaur to delete a picture she shared on social media, after their Mehendi ceremony.

Pinkvilla claims the singer uploaded a snap of herself and husband Mankeet Singh posing beside Lake Como, with the caption: ‘What a beautiful day’.

However, the 31-year-old was reportedly told by the happy couple to take it down soon after, as they don’t want any pictures from their two-day festivities online.

But Harshdeep isn’t the only one getting in trouble with her social media posts, with singer Sanjoy Das tweeting how excited he was for the wedding to get started.

‘We have reached Milan for a very special occasion of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh,’ he posted.

‘I am performing with Harshdeep Kaur along with Bobby Pathak and Firoz Khan.’

Sanjoy’s tweet was very quickly removed from his page, after he broke the no social media ‘rule’.

Awkward.

Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding celebrations began at the beginning of November – with the couple recently jetting to Italy for their big day.

There will be two ceremonies held, to honour both of their traditions – with a South Indian ritual taking place on 14 November, and a Punjabi ‘do on the 15th.

Only around 30 guests are thought to have been lucky enough to score an invite to the Italian part of the wedding festivities – with three of them already breaking the picture ban.

Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan are rumoured to be among the guestlist living it up in Lake Como.

Our invite must have got lost in the post…

But, despite a couple of glimpses of their big day accidentally shared online, we might not get much else out of the secretive pai.

‘They have asked guests to not bring their cell phones to the ceremony. Considering the fact that it will be a destination wedding, there will be fewer people and all the arrangements will be in place,’ an insider told DNA India.

‘While the two, in all likelihood, will share pictures with their fans eventually, they hope this step will help them guard their privacy.’

Deepika and Ranveer have kept details of their relationship firmly out of the public eye over the six years they are thought to have been dating.
