The film was a commercial success, but Aishwarya chose not to be a part of it. The reason, she explained, was that the film would have required her to work alongside Shah Rukh Khan while her husband, Abhishek, was also part of the project. However, Aishwarya and Abhishek’s characters would not be paired together, which she found awkward and uncomfortable.

In an interview, Aishwarya shared that while the film could have been a fun experience, the idea of her being romantically linked with another actor on screen while Abhishek was also in the film felt odd to her.
