Recently, superstar, Vikram revealed his experience working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and how Abhishek has been his close friend for some time.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been among the most loved couples in Bollywood. As two successful actors, they often shared screen space in different films like Dhoom 2, Guru and more before finally tying the knot. Fans were excited to see two of their most loved stars get married and have a happy married life. However, since the past few months, news about trouble in their paradise has often made headlines. South superstar, Vikram recently opened up about his bond with Abhishek and Aishwarya.

Vikram shares his views on Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai

In a new interview, famous South Indian actor, Chiyaan Vikram sat down for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and shared his views on Abhishek and Aishwarya. For the unversed, Vikram worked with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the film, Ponniyin Selvan. On the other hand, he previously worked with both Abhishek and Aishwarya in their film, Raavan. The actor also shares a good bond with Aishwarya’s husband, Abhishek.

Vikram spilled the beans on his relationship with Abhishek and Aishwarya. He didn’t comment on their bond, but said that Aishwarya has been a fantastic and committed actor. The actor jokingly said she always played the role of another character’s wife. At the same time, he called Abhishek Bachchan his very good friend. He was quoted as saying:

“Abhishek is a very close friend of mine so automatically, the family becomes friends too. The thing is, Aishwarya and I, we have very good on-screen chemistry, like whether it was Raavan or whether it was Ponniyin Selvan and both were unrequited love, both were somebody else’s wife, I get killed in both. She is very committed, a perfectionist and we are very good friends but Abhishek is like a very, very close friend.”

Aishwarya Rai’s personal and professional front

Aishwarya Rai’s personal life has always been a subject of interest for her fans. The actress made headlines when she tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in Mumbai on April 20, 2007. Since their marriage, the couple have often been spotted together at different shows and vacations. They have been married for 17 years and are blessed with a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. However, for some time, the couple haven’t been spotted together. They even arrived at Anant Ambani’s and Radhika Ambani’s wedding separately, and there have been several reports that the couple might soon separate their paths. But there is no confirmation from their side.

On the professional front, Aishwarya’s last film in Bollywood was Fanney Khan. She was last seen in the Tamil film, Ponniyin Selvan: I in 2022 and its sequel in 2023, where she plays a double role.
