Big B, known for his regular interactions with his admirers, often receives questions about the secret to his relationship with Jaya. One such memorable instance occurred a few years ago at the Star Screen Awards, where Kapil Sharma, hosting the event, posed a question about tantrums in relationships. Kapil initially directed his question to actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, asking which gender throws more tantrums. Ranveer quickly said, “Ladkiyan karti hain obviously (Girls, obviously),” while Deepika disagreed, arguing that boys have more tantrums.

Kapil then jokingly proposed a system where men and women get designated days to speak, similar to Delhi’s odd-even traffic days. Deepika playfully suggested Kapil should direct this question to the “experienced couple,” referring to Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.

Kapil seized the opportunity and asked Amitabh, “Sir ghar mein zyada kinki chalti hai? (Who has the final word at home?)” Bachchan’s response, delivered with his characteristic humour, was, “Mere ghar mein toh aapki chalti hai. (In my house, you have the final word.)” Kapil was thrilled by the answer and joked, “How sweet of you, sir. Mera payment badha diya aapne market mein itni baat bol ke. (You have helped me increase my payment by saying that.)”

Kapil Sharma, who has been hosting his sketch comedy show for over a decade, was recently seen on Netflix with The Great Indian Kapil Show. This season featured notable guests like Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, and Rohit Sharma. The second season will be back soon.

Meanwhile, Ranveer and Deepika are expecting their first baby together. The baby is due in September. Deepika, whose last film Kalki 2898 AD became a blockbuster success, is currently on a maternity break, while Ranveer is busy with Don 3.
