During a recent episode of the podcast ‘What The Hell Navya’, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and Navya Nanda discussed various life setbacks. Jaya Bachchan reminisced about the difficult phase her husband, Amitabh Bachchan, encountered during the 1990s when his company went bankrupt. She expressed how she silently supported him during this time.

She said, “We went through different kind of failures in different phases of my life. When a man is going through a tough phase, it’s nice to just be there and be quiet for them. It’s nice to be silently standing there and saying listen I am here for you.”

To this, Shweta Bachchan said, “No, Mumma! I don’t agree. Sometimes all a man needs is some idea which then they can work on. I would like to play a more proactive role and look for a solution because I’m a problem solver.”

Amitabh Bachchan had previously revealed in an interview with Vir Sanghvi that he had a debt of Rs 90 crore. His career revival happened when director Yash Chopra offered him a role in ‘Mohabbatein’ and his quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ also significantly boosted his career.
