Saif Ali Khan lied to Rosa Catalano about his marriage with Amrita Singh and their kids, Sara and Ibrahim

In an interview with a leading portal, Rosa Catalano talked about her relationship with Saif Ali Khan and hinted that he won over her heart by cheating. She added that it all started with a chance meeting in Kenya, and Saif didn’t tell her that he was already married and had two kids. It was only after Rosa came to India and started living with him that she came to know about his family. Rosa was quoted as saying:

“We met on a show when he was in Kenya and love just happened to us. Well, slowly, I got to know many things. I had no idea he was married when I met him. And when I came to India, he was living somewhere else and was divorced. It was strange to know that he was married with kids but the children are amazing. God bless them.”

Rosa was heartbroken, but she always tried to keep a calm facade. She eventually parted ways with Saif, despite being very much in love with him. However, Rosa was extremely attached to Saif’s children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, and it was difficult for her to be away from them after her breakup with the actor. She often credited the kids for significantly helping her adjust to a new country and shared that she would always love them madly.

According to a report in Cosmopolitan, a city-based designer, Suchismita Dasgupta, revealed Rosa’s condition back when the duo was on the verge of a split. The designer, who was friends with the duo, revealed that Rosa couldn’t deal with Saif’s mood swings as he was getting hyper with each passing day. She also shared that the actor had stopped talking to her and changed into a completely different person. Suchismita said:

“She was on the verge of tears when she confirmed the news of their split. She said that she couldn’t deal with Saif’s mood swings any longer.When Saif was working, he got hyper and changed into a completely different person. He wouldn’t be talking to Rosa for days on end if he was tense with work. Though Rosa is very worried about Saif’s health, she can do little to find out how he is doing now. She told me that they are not on talking terms at present.”

 

Meanwhile, in yet another interview, Rosa Catalano opened up about the reason behind her split with Saif Ali Khan. She broke down while expressing her emotions and revealed that to make a relationship work, efforts have to be put in from both sides. Sharing that she was only the one trying to protect their relationship, Rosa added:

“I asked myself what, why and how things happened. But a person grows and realises things even though they are shocking. Plus, you don’t know what other people are thinking or doing. Just one person can’t do that because the effort has to be from both sides. It takes two people to actually make something work. Otherwise, it’s like being on the same boat where one person wants to go right and the other person wants to go left.”

Since Rosa was an outsider in Bollywood, rumours were rife that Saif was providing her money to settle down and run her livelihood. However, in the same interview, Rosa made a startling revelation about her accruing alimony from Saif after their split and denied all the allegations. She said:

“Saif is not supporting me financially. The one reason why I kept staying in India was because I used to work as and when projects used to come so that I was able to pay my bills and pay my rent. And no one ever, I repeat, no one ever has paid my bills in India.”
